The Pima
County Sheriff's Department has made 7 arrests in connection with
an identity theft ring that affected the State Department of
Economic Security. They reportedly stole around $20,000 over 6
months from the State Department of Economic Security,
County
Superior Court
and private citizens. Using the information from the bottom of
checks mailed out by the state and city, the group had their own
checks printed, according to John Cotsonas with the
Sahuarita Police Department.
Gregory
Page, 36, Richard Henes, 32, Stephanie Santos, 23, William
Love, 44, John Bessett, 43, Timothy Rundquis, 23 and Amanda Owen,
23, were arrested. More arrests are expected in this case.
